Esquel undertakes a number of activities to strengthen the rule of law and a social State in Ecuador. The Justice and Society Fund aims at consolidating this endeavor from different angles; one of them is through the sound application of the new criminal procedures system and improved access to justice.

Bridging Leadership has the potential to initiate and sustain collective collaboration processes amongst multiple stakeholders in society. These processes can bring about changes in citizens behaviours and can help to further consolidate institutional structures.

Improved public policies on citizens’ security were fostered through social stakeholders increased action vis-à-vis State agencies.
